I bought my desktop in 2012. and it has completely crashed. Evidently there is no boot left on computer. I have some things on the computer I treasure. How do I get it to boot ?

Technician's Assistant: What Operating System (OS) are you running on your laptop?

It isn't my laptop It is a desktop. I have windows 10 in desktop.

Technician's Assistant: Have you tried rebooting from a DVD or flash drive?

Yes, but all I have is a windows 7 disk.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?

I have the original disk that came with computer, but it is windows vista
