BIOS expert.. only TOP skilled expert. Just got a new Lenovo

Customer Question

BIOS expert.. only TOP skilled expert.
Just got a new Lenovo p50, but has to be turned on TWICE every time, without exception. (Never once, never 3 times)
When you turn on a Lenovo laptop, the first thing you're shown is the black screen with red Lenovo logo.
At the bottom it says "press enter to exit normal startup". This of course allows you to go into diagnostics, etc.
Then that disappears and normal boot continues.
Well, what's happening, is EVERY time I turn the computer on, it shows the black screen with logo, but doesn't even get to that initial message, which usually shows up almost immediately. So the black screen with logo just sits there for hours. I have to turn computer off, then on again, and then it boots normal. Next time I try to boot or wake from hibernate, I get same issue. So it always has to be booted up twice. Please tell me cause and how to fix.
