my laptop starts up and pulls up the lock screen but as soon as I type in my password ***** it loads through the screen goes black and I can access anything. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do.

Ctl alt dlt gets me a screen with
"Lock"
"Switch user"
"Sign out"
Task manager"
"Cancel"
