I have a Toshiba MK6465GSX disk that need to be repaired. I need help to do that.

Customer: That is about it. They just tell me not to use my computer until it is fixed. Said it could cause a crash and I'd lose everything.

I am not very computer literate so hopefully I'll be able to help you. I keep getting a message that says the above disk need to be repaired or replaced. They only told how to back it up. So I'm not sure what the actual issue is. No explanation of what is wrong or what is going on. It also said not to use the laptop until the disk is taken care of.

Ok, a lot of these messages can be fake programs trying to trick you to buy something.Where exactly do you see the message, and is the computer still functioning ok? I can see you are a first time user to the site. What we do here is either a question and answer type of conversation or remote support where I would actually connect to the computer and have a look and attempt to fix the problem for you. Remote support can save a lot of time if you are not comfortable performing repairs yourself. Sometimes even with instructions you can make a mistake and make things worse.
