My laptop, an ENVY, is frozen with the white box "swipe to log in," my screen name and the window with light coming through, and a dots circling around in the middle. The cursor will move.

can you remove the power cable then hold the power button in for 60 seconds then release.

Then connect the power cable, turn on the Envy and tell me if it now functions correctly please.
