Customer Question

I want to install a solid state hard drive, how can I get to the Bios so that the computer will recognize the new drive? My computer is a Lenovo G500 laptop.

Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist.

On the G500 there is a very small button just to the right of the power button called the Novo button.

With the laptop powerd off press that button for 1 - 2 seconds. It should start the OneKey recovery.

You'll have the option to enter the BIOS from there.

I will say this, though, you shouldn't have to make any BIOS changes to get the laptop to recognize the new drive.

Once its connected the laptop should automatically recognize it's presence when turned on.
