I have lost my ability to use the WiFi on my Aspire laptop.

Customer Question

I have lost my ability to use the WiFi on my Aspire laptop. It worked last night but no luck this morning. I can get the internet using an ethernet cable but when I go to switch the WiFi on it automatically reverts to off.
Any ideas are welcome.

Hi Terry,

There are a few things we can check here. When you say enable the wireless, are you referring to enabling the connection within Windows or enabling wireless via the Aspire (switch on the front or keyboard shortcut)? There should be an LED indicator showing WiFi is enabled

Are they any other wireless devices in your network and are able to connect wirelessly at the moment?

Well now I'm furious! The damn thing seems to be working now. Which doesn't help me know what went wrong in the first place. So I guess I'm good now. How soon can I cancel the subscription?Thanks for your help.
