Hi my toshiba satellite s70t-a has stopped working as of yesturday and when i turn it on it shows... No bootable device -- please restart system???. Help pls

No just charging adapter. I did shut it down with a 2tb usb though.

Do you mean that the issue started when you plugged in a 2. TB USB?

Well no. I just had it connected into laptop as i pressed shut down button.Was trying to fix the usb which had been formated on xbox wrong and a suggestion from a forum was too shut pc down whilst usb was plugged in lol

Okay. Reboot the Toshiba and see if you can enter BIOS. Normally; it's the F2 key.

Make sure HDD is the first boot able device set; and make sure secure boot is disabled.

enable secure boot and change boot order back to UEFI. Then save the settings; and reboot. Power it off; take the battery out, unplug charger, hold power button for 10 seconds, put battery back in and reboot.

Reboot and boot to BIOS. Wait 15 minutes in the BIOS. Save Changes and Exit. Then test.
