I have 3 year old Acer computer with Vista. The serial number is ***** I have had problems recently, and the tech guy at Office Max thought that the problem was with the operating system, and not some virus. Yesterday I tried to access the Acer eRecovery Management tool, which seemed to work OK up until the last step. Then it seemed to freeze up. I continually get the message "Setup is starting services," then a message that I needed to restart my computer. This is an endless loop, and I can't quit the program and return to what I had before I entered this eRecovery tool. Is there anything I can do now?

Please follow the steps given below and let me know its outcome:

Turn off your computer.
Disconnect the power cord from Main supply.
Now, hold down the power button on the tower for 1 minute.
Now, connect only power cord and restart it and try to boot in safe mode again.
