Welcome, my name is ***** ***** I will assist you today!
It could be that your wireless is turned off. Lets try a few steps.
First, try simply pressing Fn and the F8 key.. thats your wireless toggle.
Pressing that once, does it turn your wireless on?
If not, shut down your computer. Then press power to start it, and ** Immediately ** start tapping the f8 key.
Then, choose safe mode with networking.. does that turn your wifi back on?
If it does. You can restart your computer and let it restart normally and it should still be working.
If the wifi still is not working after those two steps. Try the following
Click start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore..
Click, restore my computer to an earlier pont, then click next..
We want to choose a restore point that was at least one day before the issues started..
Carry out the restore. the computer will restart, then let me know if that fixed the issue or not..
I strive to provide great service, and greatly appreciate a rating of excellent submitted below this answer when you are satisfied.. I always answer follow up questions.

I wasn't able to activate my wireless connection using your suggestions
Expert:  Dustin replied 2 years ago.
Were you able to complete the system restore? if so, did you choose a date that was before the problem started? Also, when you press the Fn key and the F8 key.. Do you see anything on screen?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Nothing with fn f8... I tried restoring several times nothing happened
Expert:  Dustin replied 2 years ago.
When you say you tried restoring several times and nothing happened. Do you mean when you started system system restore, and then choose a date, and then told it to restore. That the computer did not complete the restore, shut down, and restart on its own?
