Hello,
My name is Jason. I look forward to helping you today.
May I ask for you to elaborate on what the problem is? How far does the laptop boot up?
Thank you,
Jason
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
It is just not booting up.
I simply see the options to boot up, such as safe mode, start normally, etc.,
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
And after that the ctrl+alt+delete option doesn't appear.
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 2 years ago.
Thank you for the update.
Please, follow the instructions below:
- Turn the computer off
- Turn the computer on
- Start pressing the F8 key on the top of the keyboard
- At the Boot menu, choose Last Known Good Configuration
- Hit the Enter key three times
- The computer will reboot and your problem will be gone.
Did that help?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
This option is not displayed.
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 2 years ago.
In that case, do the following:
- At the menu, choose Safe Mode and press enter a couple times.
- When Safe Mode boots, do the following:
- Click the Start Button > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
- Choose to Restore to an earlier time > Click Next.
- Choose a date at least one week before you started experiencing your problem.
- Click NEXT > NEXT > NEXT.
- Your computer will restart and your issue will be gone.

Nope, the same situation.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
How do I remove the battery? Can I try that?
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 2 years ago.
Removing the battery will not help.
Were you able to boot into Safe Mode?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
No, I wasn't. The logging option doesn't appear at all.
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 2 years ago.
Please, try the "Safe Mode with Networking" option. Does that work?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
No, none of the options is opening.
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 2 years ago.
Do you have the Windows 7 installation disc? You won't have to reinstall, but we may be able to use it to repair the installation.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I wil check, please give me a moment.

Thank you

I am unable to find the CD.
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 2 years ago.
We may have to wait for you to find it before continuing.
On the boot menu, are you able to choose Safe Mode with Command Prompt only?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I tried all of the options. I see some junk characters and the nothing happens after that.
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 2 years ago.
Thank you for the update and your patience today.
Do you wish to search for the installation cd/dvd and let me know when you find it so we can continue?

My problem is not yet resolved and the fee is already deducted?
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 2 years ago.
You are charged the moment I respond, but the amount is still in your account on this site. You are not charged until you rate my help and we are finished.
Do you want me to send this up for a refund or would you like to continue?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I don't think I would be able to continue. I will have to ship my laptop to my company. I don't have a CD.
