Im having issues with my landlord getting plumbing fix over
Im having issues with my landlord getting plumbing fix over the past 3 years. And now with pandemic i sent them the form to protect us in unprecedented times. Asvise them they will get rent this was just incase to protect us as we been having some hardship due to kids home schooling now etc more $ is being spend in food , house etc. Long store short i sent and advise then that if they didn't sent a plumber to fix the leaks, molds, walls, etc. I would have no choice but to call the health department as i have been having issues since i moved in. A week later after i send pandemic forms and metion health department. They send me a letter basically justifying and talking how i violated by having a pool which had nothing to do with what i sent. FYI they allowed me to have a pool 1st thing i asked when i moved in. 2nd- i put 2 and 2 together, in the pandemic form says they cant evict me for rent and i would have to pay any rent by dec 31. But does say they can evict me for other things. And the pool was a shocker for me. Also this is under section 8 voucher which i pay 99% of rent. Also when signed lease lanlord only put i have to pay gas, light and rent. But in reality im paying water too, maintenance and 100$ extra not incontract or reported to sec 8. He told me not to report it been paying this for almost 4 years. March 2021 will be 4 years . What can i do. I do not want my mom to loose her voucher as i just was added 4 years ago due to health problems they wouldnt release her unless she was living with someone. Me myself never had sec 8. And my mom didn't want to loose her voucher so that's how i got added. … read more
