We signed a 2 year lease in summer 2020, primarily because our building advertised having a 24 hour doorman service. At the start of March, our building decided to eliminate the 24 hour service and move the staff to part time (no more night shifts). We have safety concerns with this and are no longer receiving the building experience that we are paying for. We are trying to break our lease and the landlord is only willing to do that if we pay the price differential for the remaining 16 months on our lease, for whatever new price a replacement tenant is going to pay.
