We are having and ongoing sewer issue, We had a verbal
We had a verbal agreement back beginning of the year, that the landlord would keep the sewer pumped monthly and we would split the cost. And we agreed to stay quiet about the sewer problem. They haven't pumped the septic tank for at least 2-4 months. We complained to the property manager today about the drains not draining, they got someone to pump the septic this afternoon, and didn't take care of all the drains. The mudroom, sink & toilet back flushed tonight, my kitchen sink has back flush in it. … read more

I have a landlord tenant issue. California. It was a year
It was a year lease but that was up three years ago and now it's a month to month lease. In the last year we have had issues with the house. It's started with water leaks, the water heater, and now we have water pushing out from under the foundation and we are on a septic tank. For the last ten months I haven't been feeling good. I've been getting nauseous and headaches and started going to the doctor. I had to have a CT Scan and a MRI on my head. And I haven't been able to work the last ten months. I have notified my landlord of the water pushing out from Under the foundation and so she sent up a family plumber and he said there's nothing wrong when clearly there is. I asked for a second opinion from a different plumber and she refused, I also asked for a house inspections and nothing came of that. The house is shifting so much that I packed the kids and I and left the house which we are now staying at a friend sleeping on the couches. We had the septic tank emptied but the house still doesn't feel safe and I still get nauseous at the House and after I told her that she gave me less then 25 day notice to move out. We have lived at the house for 4 1/2 years and never been late on our rent and was always in good standing with the landlord. … read more
