Ask a landlord-tenant lawyer and get answers ASAP
I am Loren, a licensed attorney, and my goal is to answer your question and provide you excellent service.
Unless the lease states otherwise, the landlord only needs to notify you that the lease has been assigned. The landlord does not, generally need the tenant's consent or to give notice before the sale. The new owner would have to let you know where to send the rent.
If you have no further questions please remember to rate my service so that I am credited by JA for answering your question and also so that I may close the question.
There is no additional charge to you for a 5 star rating of my service.
