I have water poring in my front window and have every time it rains for the past year I rent the landlord has never fixed this problem. And he has known for a year what should I do?

Have it fixed yourself, and deduct the cost from your next months rent. Be sure that it is done as inexpensively as correctly as possible. You can't have a botched job done and over pay for it.
