Customer Question

I manage a property in Odenton, MD. We have an order for eviction. Tenant has said she has filed for bankruptcy. I am checking to see if we were successful in garnishing her wages. If she declares bankruptcy, will this wipe out the approval for garnishing her wages?
Thank you

legally, if she is successful, you wont be able to garnish. You will be able to secure leave to complete the eviction.

Keep in mind the bankruptcy may get dismissed or discontinued so continue to track it.
