My rental contract ending 3 years ago and when we have asked

Customer Question

My rental contract ending 3 years ago and when we have asked about another one we never get a responds. Now my landlords wants to raise my rent starting on the 10th of this month without notice. I just received this increase notice by text message on yesterday and that he will be sending a new lease agreement. If i decide not to renew my lease how many days do i have to move out? He has informed me that if I dont sign I will have 3 days to move out.

The rent can only be increased on written notice, normally by certified mail, not text as provided in the lease. either side may end tenancy on 30 day notice. You cannot be evicted on 3 day notice. You can demand 30 day notice and wait that period. Good luck. Kindly let me know if the answer is acceptable.
