I was given a new 2-year lease on my NYC apartment yesterday.

Customer Question

I was given a new 2-year lease on my NYC apartment yesterday. Both management and myself, the renter, signed everything. I was informed in an email that the amounts were (slightly) incorrect. Is this lease still legal?

Hello and thank you for using the Just Answer website. I look forward to assisting you.
If the incorrect is either a typographical error or a non-substantial amount and there was no fraud, then the lease would still be valid. A typo or minor ministerial error would not normally void a contract.
