I have a question about owning a mobile home. ID. Not about
Yes, I won the mobile home and have lived in this park for over 20yrs. I got to become friends with the landlord and during that time she wanted to pay off my mortgage. At first I told her no, I was doing just fine which I had a few more years to pay on it. She gave me $2,300.00 for the trailer and before I knew we were sitting in front of a lawyer in ID. I told the lawyer the only time she can have the title is after I die and that is the way it was written up. Well now because of my health problems I need to go into a nursing home. I told them they can move in, after I move out. I wouldn't be getting a dime from them because of Medicaid. I was thinking of the landlord that if I had moved out with no renters, she would be w/o a pad fee and this way this couple will pay the mo. pad fee. Well they young couple went to meet the landlord to get her approval and she told them in so many words, that once I left she was going into my mobile home and get all that I had left behind, and she already had a renter in mind. Can she do this when I still own the trailer?… read more
