Right high beam blew (again naturally) replaced all 4. Expert after 9 years. Right high beam socket no electricity. Since there is no persevable break and all other bulbs on both sides work. Where do I look. There is one relay #4 and fuse #4 that's it so is there individual fuseble links?

Is the socket missing power or earth?

Not according to the new test light since the other was 10 years old. Bright light on new tester. I thought of that since it is only one socket. Also checked at back of plug in the event the socket had corrosion. That’s why I’m stumped. Kia will charge more than I have so their out. Fly wheel last year towed between 2 Kia garages their expense, 1 month several mechanics later they found weld broke on fly wheel. 1200. These kias are great till they go bad too many circuits. 4 oil pressure sensors 4 o2 sensors. And on and on I have a test computer but it shows no faults. If I pull both high the blue dash flashes once on then stays off so their seems to be circuitry for some self diagnosis. But not for 1 bulb apparently.

No I can’t afford much more really strapped 65 in 2 month 2 autistic kids not a pretty picture for us right now. Rely on these 2 old cars to do daily runs and they just don’t hold up over 125 k I guess both breaking down other one has mystery with transmission no one can identify,my life is just filled with mechanical mysteries

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer! I apologize for the extended wait time you experienced, I've only just come online now and would like to assist you with your question.

You opted out the person helping, preventing further communication. Did you no longer need help?

I still need help, other person said check ground, well if my concern was read it clearly states I used a new led tester that has high sensitivity and brightness. Only the rt high beam circuit is out. Is there a plug or fusible link or is it a switch or possibly relay with one dead leg is any of that possible before I start replacing and chasing parts.
Kia Mechanic: sprinkles08, ASE Certified Technician replied 7 months ago

An LED test light cannot be used to test a power or ground because it doesn't have any sensitivity to current flow and won't change brightness.

Do you have an incandescent test light?

I will try that again this afternoon I will then let you know.
