My remote start is stuck...
My remote start is stuck in valet mode.
JA: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery fully charged?
Customer: yes
JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: 2015 kia sorento
JA: Are you fixing your Sorento yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: We just installed the remote starter. Added an rf kit. in programming the rf kit my evo one got stuck in valet mode. the 2 ways to get out of valet mode that we have been told is to turn ignition on and push the valet button 3 times and then turn off. the second way was to turn ignition on push break pedal 10 times and turn off. nothing works.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: We got into valet mode trying to set the remotes. When we first installed the rf kit the car would start and then shut down when remote starting.

Hi Pete, thank you for answering my question. I have not had time to disconnect the battery and try to reset the eco one. I actually had to drop off my car for body work today and will nor have the car back until later next week at the earliest. I will try this when I receive the car back and will be back in touch with you. Thank you. Dawn
