My 2005 Sedona won't start this morning. All lights operate

Customer Question

My 2005 Sedona won't start this morning. All lights operate normal. I hear a click/thunk under the the floor (maybe starter) and a hum when I turn the key.
JA: Is the car in "Park" or "Neutral?" Do you know if your car has a "wheel lock" feature?
Customer: I tried both in park and neutral - same. I don't know what wheel lock is. I rolled the car back a foot and re-tried - same
JA: Are you fixing your Sedona yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Just checked fuses under hood. I am trying to fix myself - also battery is new
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: starter was replaced a few months back

Hey how are you

yes it could be starter ,was starter new or used?

we have starter relay, pnp switch at transmission ?

we pcm and ground ?

battery cables loose or corroded

with test light switch at start position and you check with test light do we have 12 volts at starter

lets start here and we go from there

If you do not mind me asking ,are you looking at fixing this yourself or looking to know the most possible cause of this issue and taking it to repair shop for the work ?

Do you have any prior experience in electrical troubleshooting and testing with a test light for power & ground ?

Do you have a test light & or power probe for testing ?

Please let me know

Thank You
