I have a2006 sportage and on the end of the ground cable

I have a2006 sportage and on the end of the ground cable there is a connector that appeared to be plugged into something but now is not my question is where did it go to
JA: Most vehicles have two fuse panels. Do you know what they look like?
Customer: yes
JA: What year is your Sportage?
Customer: 2006
JA: Are you fixing your Sportage yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: i have checked the wiring harness underneath the verhicle
