Won't start. Does nothing. Security system light flashing and rear lights flashing
JA: Just to clarify, can you tell me which light it is? And does it blink first, then stay on steady?
Customer: No the security light on the dash and the running lights
JA: What is the model/year of your Kia?
Customer: 2005 Sedona
JA: Are you fixing your Sedona yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes myself. I haven't had much of a chance to do anything. Drove it to my friends house came out to leave and when I hit the key nothing. Battery is good
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Do the headlights work and shine bright and remain bright while trying to start?

Did you have a spare key to try?

Do you have a scan tool?

All lights are working strong. I was working on the rear heater core and unhooked the battery. I drove it to get parts and noticed the security light flashing and the running lights flashing. Got done with rear heater and went to start the car to make sure there were no leaks and when I hit the key nothing, no sound, nothing
