Customer Question

Kia Sportage 2011 automatic transmission belt between 3rd & 4th gear snapped/broken.
JA: How many miles are on the car? Is it the original transmission?
Customer: Original transmission. 150,000. Less than 30,000 per year.
JA: Are you fixing your Sportage yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No. Kia workshop has vehicle at the moment as it can not be driven. How much for a new transmission? How many hours of labour?
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Vehicle does not have a tow bar and has never towed anything. All services were by a Kia dealership and on time while under warranty also up until now.
