Doing the brakes on rear 2002 kia rio. The hub cap/dust cap

Hi. Doing the brakes on rear 2002 kia rio. The hub cap/dust cap is stuck. Afraid to hit it too hard and destroying it. Have used kroil. Any suggestions?
JA: How many miles are on the car? Are these the orignial brakes?
Customer: 151000miles, they are original.
JA: Are you fixing your Rio yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes. Used, Kroil and tapping between the cap and brake drum with a chisel and hammer.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hello, I would suggest drilling a hole in it and using an auto body slide hammer to remove it. You can then either replace it or seal the hole with RTV silicone.
