Hello I will help you with your question, Can you get the price down enough to cover the cost of a reman transmission and the time required to change it?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Price is already bottom at 3500$ but has nice body and interior.
Is it difficult to change solenoids?
And if it is Changed it fixs the issue?
Is the dark fluid color enough risky?
Expert:  George H. replied 2 years ago.
If the fluid is black I don't think changing the solenoid will help. In any case the transmission needs to come out so getting another transmission through car-part.com or from KIA (good reman program) then that is less than removing the trans, trying to fix it and putting it back in.
Let me know how I can help
Thank you

Does the color 'close to black' means that cluch is at risk?
Expert:  George H. replied 2 years ago.
Sorry I am unable to speak on the phone but if the trans fluid is black or close to black it is a failed clutch pack in one or more sets so the trans will need to be rebuilt or replaced. It is less money to replace. Let me know how I can help Thank you
