Kia Optima: 2007 Kia Optima ex 4 cyl manual transmission.

This answer was rated:

2007 Kia Optima ex 4 cyl manual transmission. Clutch will not dis-engage. What are the possible root causes? I don't see a reservoir for hydraulic fluid (assuming this is a hydraulic clutch).
Hello I will help you with your question,

Does the clutch pedal feel normal?

How many miles on your vehicle?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Yes. The pedal feels normal. about 114k I believe...

OK, this sounds like the clutch disc has shredded and is wedged in between the pressure plate and the flywheel so the transmission is always being spun. When you can only start the engine in neutral and the engine is locked to the transmission with a normal feeling clutch pedal then you need to have the clutch assembly replaced.
