2006 kia sedona: will not turn over...light and radio work

This answer was rated:

my 2006 kia sedona will not turn over...light and radio work..what is wrong?
When cranking over do the lights dim?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
no, it doesnt crank...no response from ignition, no clicking noise or engagement in anyway
What's the voltage across the battery when cranking over . Could be dead cells in the battery or a faulty starter.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
battery is only two years old...no idea about voltage...no guage on car, only light
Ok most common are dead cells in the battery causing this issue. If the battery checks out ok then the problem is a faulty starter . These are what need to be checked next . Hoped this helped. Positive feedback and bonuses greatly appreciated.
