2000 kia sportage: overheating..water pump..Radiator does NOT leak.

Customer Question

my 2000 kia sportage keeps overheating. I have replaced the thermostat, checked the water pump (it's good). Radiator does NOT leak. Heater core blew so we by-passed that and its still overheating. No signs of a blown head gasket. What do I check next?

Hi how are you?You need to have a engine block test performed on the vehicle, this is a fairly quick test that will show if the head gasket, heads, or block is cracked.
