do you need a trim removal tool to make this happen?

how do you remove the inner glass weatherstrip before you get the door panel off?

Expert:  Mike V. replied 6 years ago.
You don't need a trim tool. Kia is mostly screws and clips. Normally once you have all the screws out, then you can pop the clips.
I wouldn't worry about the weatherstrip, even in the diagram you can see the door panel is already off. Things get lost in translation sometimes.

do i need to remove the 3 screws behind the mirror garnish?

Expert:  Mike V. replied 6 years ago.
Nope, they just hold the mirror in place. The cover comes off and unless the screws hold the door trim up there, they should not need to be removed.

i have the door pane off but can not remove the door handle rod that is connected to the door handle. my window fail into the door and I am trying to get it back on the track. is the the right way to start this process?
Expert:  Mike V. replied 6 years ago.
Yes, you are doing the right thing. There is just a clip that holds the rod in place. it latches over the rod.
If you have power windows and it dropped down, you will need a new regulator.
