Transfer High/low (L4) switch signal malfunction

4WD low switch signal line open, short, or disconnected.

Check the connector connecting condition between the TCM and transfer High/low switch.
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace it.

Measure the voltage between the TCM B18 terminal and ground.

Yes
Go to the step 4 after checking wiring.
No
Go to the next step.

After disconnecting the EC-AT TCM connector, Check if transfer High/low switch circuit is normal.
Yes
Go to step 5.
No
Go to the next step after repair as needed.

After disconnecting the transfer High/low switch connector, Check if transfer High/low switch is normal.
Yes
Check the wiring and the connector between TCM and switch.
If normal, go to the next step.
If abnormal, repair wiring and connector.

Replace transfer High/low switch.

After erasing the malfunction code, check if it is indicated again when IG switch is on.

Go to the next step after replacing new TCM.
