I have a 2015 JGC Limited EcoDiesel and I got the "Service*****system" message yesterday while coming home from a trip

Mechanic's Assistant: Besides this, what condition is the car in?

Excellent, has 25K mi on it and no other problems that I know of. I install GDE eng and trans tunes about 3 weeks ago

Like I said in my 1st post 2015 JGC Limited EcoDiesel. JGC= Jeep Grand Cherokee

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Grand Cherokee yourself? What have you tried so far?

I have done nothing but go on the WEB and see what others have done. I just bought it on 3/2/18 and it is a Jeep Certified vehicle and is under warranty

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I can repair it myself but if the parts are real expensive I would rather the dealer pick up the tab. I was thinking that if the code can be cleared it might not come back. I was pushing the car pretty good when the code went off ( 110+ mph)

Thanks for the reply.

Ok, the first step would be to have the vehicle scanned for codes. It may be something as simple as a wheel speed sensor, but it may also be something more expensive like the shift motor for the transfer case. This is what the fault code would tell us.

Since you have just purchased this, I would just let your dealer deal with this on their dime.
