Customer Question
The air recirculation actuator...

The air recirculation actuator is making a noise when it moves the door to full open or closed

Mechanic's Assistant: How long has this been an issue? How many miles are on the car?

About 100,000 miles, been making noise for several months

Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model/year of your Jeep?

2011 patriot

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Patriot yourself? What have you tried so far?

Yes, I have just taken out the glove box and pinpointed the noise coming from the actuator

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I was having cool air temp on high temp heater setting. I backflushed the heater core and it increased the air temp from 80 degrees at the vent to 115
