hello, my name is ***** ***** I will try to help. Your IOD fuse may be contained in a plastic holder. If you get a small pocket screw driver you should be able to flip up the top of that holder then use a pair of needle nose pliers to pull the fuse up and out of the holder. Then replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage rating. Let me know how it goes.

Chris, is this fuse a dealer item or can one pick this fuse up aftermarket?? Also, could a fuse like this dying normally kill off a battery???
Jeep Mechanic: Chris, Shop Foreman replied 8 months ago

You can get it from your local auto parts store. It is not a dealer only item. The fuse however would not normally kill off a battery. Either the battery is failing or you have some other issue causing a draw on the battery.
