I have a 99 Jeep...
I have a 99 Jeep Cherokee Sport no spark. Have spark from the coil to distributor but no spark from the distributor to spark plugs fixed bare wires still cannot find problem wondering if it's the ignition pickup in the distributor

Hello there I've been real busy this last couple months surgeries and so on . anyway I double-checked the distributor voltage to the ignition pickup but no spark from distributor to spark plugs. Anyway to actually check the ignition pickup? I'm not at the vehicle right now I've checked everything possible only thing left is the ignition pickup but do to the price I do not want to buy right now unless I'm positive

unsure of what is wrong right off. You say you have spark on the coil wire? but hooked to cap you have no sprak to plugs?

no spark coming from wires to spark plugs I also have 12 volts going to distributor to the ignition pickup. rotor cap and rotor were replaced a couple months ago nothing wrong with them that I can see
