JA: Is this your first time dealing with this issue?

May I start by getting your VIN or engine size please?

That way I can pull the correct wiring diagram of your power window circuit and help point you in the right direction.

Thank you!

Thank you.

One moment please

Expert:  Amedee replied 2 months ago.

Ok, I found the correct wiring diagram for your rear power windows.

Did both rear windows stop working at the same time?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I believe so.
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Wondering if there's a separate fuse for the back windows and where it could be located.
Expert:  Amedee replied 2 months ago.

Ok, from the factory wiring diagram, it appears that the rear power windows are on the same circuits as the front power windows. The system uses a circuit breaker for both sides (drivers and passenger). The circuit breaker must be good because the front windows work.

They also use separate grounds so that should not be an issue as well

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
a bad ground?
Expert:  Amedee replied 2 months ago.

I wish it was that easy.

Expert:  Amedee replied 2 months ago.

So let me explain your options.. one moment while I type.

Expert:  Amedee replied 2 months ago.

It could be possible both rear window motors are faulty, both rear switches are faulty or the front window switches are faulty (they control the rear door windows).

Another possible cause would be a wiring issue preventing the window motors from getting power or ground.

Now, you can do a few things..

Expert:  Amedee replied 2 months ago.

Diagnose one circuit at a time and that will lead you to the root cause. I can help you diagnose this issue.. as it is a very simple circuit.

If the two rear window motors are inop because of the same problem, both will start working as soon as the one is diagnosed and fixed.

Don't have tools with me right now. I'll have to be back touch with you
Expert:  Amedee replied 2 months ago.

Or, another possible cause would be to disconnect the battery cables from the battery and rub them together for 5 minutes. This will discharge the capacitors inside all modules (including both door modules) and may allow the windows to start working again.

Here is a wiring diagram for the rear window motors on your vehicle.
