Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are quite a few things that will cause the engine to die or to not start and it's going to require some testing to determine what is going on. If it doesn't crank then I would first suspect the powertrain control module isn't awake either due to an internal failure or a loss of power or ground.

Do you hear the fuel pump run when the key is first turned on?
