Have no heat 2010 jeep liberty replaced thermostat. blend door actuator , could it be the heater core?

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked to make sure the thermostat is working? What about the coolant level?

I replaced the thermostat

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Liberty yourself? What have you tried so far?

ok

sense the cooling system has been worked on..you may now have air in the system.

lets bleed the system this way

1-remove the radiator/reservoir cap when the engine is cold

2-start the engine and let idle

3-turn the heater on max

4-keep coolant on hand and add it as needed

5-spme coolant may gush out with the air

6-keep doing this until the engine is at operating tempeture and the heater is hot

7-after the coolant settles down and the engine is warm,,install the cap

This may take as long as 20-30 minutes

i would think your problem is the mode actuator ,,in doesnt seem to be opening the door to the heater core

I have already replace the bled door actuator not sure what your implying please instruct to the issue.

if both the heater hoses are hot,,we know that the heater core is not clogged and is getting hot..so,if the heater still blows cold,,the blower isnt blowing the heat ooff of the core,,so i would think that the mode door isnt opening to let the blower blow off of the heater core

Is there a certain way to put the motor actuator in because I put one in a new one and I'm still not blowing any hot air that was the first thing I replaced then the thermostat and now I'm puzzled

after you replace it,,it must be calibrated with a scan tool
