does it ever get warm, maybe when driving?

Ask Your Own Jeep Question
Customer reply replied 1 year ago
Very little if any
Jeep Mechanic: tim's auto repair, Mechanic replied 1 year ago

ok

sense the cooling system has been worked on..you may now have air in the system.

lets bleed the system this way

1-remove the radiator/reservoir cap when the engine is cold

2-start the engine and let idle

3-turn the heater on max

4-keep coolant on hand and add it as needed

5-spme coolant may gush out with the air

6-keep doing this until the engine is at operating tempeture and the heater is hot

7-after the coolant settles down and the engine is warm,,install the cap

This may take as long as 20-30 minutes

I have already replace the bled door actuator not sure what your implying please instruct to the issue.
Jeep Mechanic: tim's auto repair, Mechanic replied 1 year ago

if both the heater hoses are hot,,we know that the heater core is not clogged and is getting hot..so,if the heater still blows cold,,the blower isnt blowing the heat ooff of the core,,so i would think that the mode door isnt opening to let the blower blow off of the heater core

Ask Your Own Jeep Question
Customer reply replied 1 year ago
Is the mode door the same as the blend door?
Jeep Mechanic: tim's auto repair, Mechanic replied 1 year ago

yes,,the blend door is what you need to check

Jeep Mechanic: tim's auto repair, Mechanic replied 1 year ago

after you replace it,,it must be calibrated with a scan tool
