my neighbor owns a 1996 Jeep cherokee that won't start if the car warms up and get hot. It will start cold, but once he drives it, it will just stall
JA: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?
Customer: sorry he is 75 and Im trying to help him. He states the battery is fine and the terminal are not corroded. He has trie new temperature sending unit, new coils, a new starter , ignition switch.
JA: Are you fixing your Cherokee yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: he has tried new temp sending unit, new coils an new starter and ignition switch
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: he states the auto shutdown keeps activating (ASD)

the engine cranks over , were looking for a solution to keep the car running. Earl has very bad hearing so he cant call.

The most likely possible cause for this condition would be a faulty camshaft position sensor or crankshaft position sensor.

Also, the fuel pump could be starting to go bad causing this condition as well.
