My break light notification has lit up on my dash. my break

Customer Question

hi, my break light notification has lit up on my dash. my break fluid is fine, and my breaks aren't squeaking if anything my brakes are slightly weaker than they were last year. I'm curious to know if there is a way to check how safe they are, because I am trying to drive 3 hours to Virginia from Maryland tonight
JA: Have you checked the fuses? The dashboard bulbs?
Customer: unfortunately, I'm not sure how to do that. my Jeep did just get a recall repair for the ignition. Could that have bumped a wire?
JA: What is the model/year of your Jeep?
Customer: 2005 jeep grand Cherokee laredo
JA: Are you fixing your Grand Cherokee yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I plan on bringing it to a service shop tomorrow, but am wondering if I can drive on it tonight at 70pmh
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: ive checked brake fluid and its not low or leaking
