Hi Im David. thanks for visiting the site. the light thats a key with a line through it is the security light. when you turn the key to try to start the jeep, does that key light go out?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
No the key light stays on and the car doesn't say anything
Expert:  david craig replied 10 months ago.

Customer: replied 10 months ago.

Expert:  david craig replied 10 months ago.

ok. disconnect the battery terminals. both of them. touch them together for 10 seconds, then reconnect them. see if that resets the system.
