JA: What is the model/year of your Jeep?
Customer: Liberty 2004
JA: Are you fixing your Liberty yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes checked with auto parts store ssid it could be a fuse. Sais to check manual. To see which fuse it coukd be. I csnt find the manual.
JA: Most vehicles have two fuse panels. Have you located both?
Customer: Yes there is one inside on drivers side snd one inder the hood
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: When i turn on my lights the light on the radio goes dim snd sometimes the overhead lights blink.
JA: Soon. I'm trying to find the right Jeep Mechanic for you right now. As soon as they are ready, I will let you know.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The instrument cluster controls the illumination of itself and the other components, there aren't any fuses. If the illumination doesn't work yet the park lamps do then the problem could be in the cluster, all the bulbs could be blown, or there may be a short to ground on the circuit causing the driver to shut off.

Did the entire instrument cluster stop lighting at once?
