It will not start. It cranks but won't start. I've replaced coil dittibutor and crank position sensor but it still won't start
JA: Does the vehicle stall at low speeds? Does it sputter?
Customer: It will not start at all
JA: What is the model/year of your Jeep?
Customer: It is 1998 YJ
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes I am doing it my self. I've replaced the dittibutor coil and crank position sensor
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

The problem can be a loss of spark or fuel. You can check for spark at the plugs with a spark tester.
You can check fuel pressure with a gauge and both of these tools should be available to you at your
local parts store for rent or purchase.
You need to check for any stored codes in the computer with a code reader or a scan tool.
The code reader only gives the codes and definitions, where the scan tool gives you all
the needed data to diagnose the codes.
