Customer Question

I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. For no reason the check engine light will come on and in just a second or two the traction light will come on. I took it in to the dealership, they replaced the cam sensor yesterday, both lights came back on today. What is going on?

Hi Im David, do you know why they replaced the cam sensor?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Because the computer gave them codes that I assume told them that was the problem.
Expert:  david craig replied 10 months ago.

Can you find out what codes the computer gave them? apparently that did not fix the issue. you dont want techs to start hrowing parts at your vehicle unless of course it under warranty and its not costing you anything. regardless, i need to know why they replace the cam sensor, unless you have a scan tool or can go to autozone and have them scan it for free and let me know the codes. thank you.
