Customer Question

Traction control problems after I installed my new lift kit.
JA: What is the model/year of your Jeep?
Customer: 2011 Jeep Wrangler Mojave edition
JA: Are you fixing your Wrangler yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: It's been in and out of the shop for 3 times for alignment and still having the same problem
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No that's it

Hi there,

Can you tell me what your Jeep does now after the lift kit was fitted?

Do any warning lights come on?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
It was rough country 4in lift. The traction light flashes when curving to the right on the freeway.
Expert:  Gary replied 11 months ago.

Is that the only time the light flashes?

Does the vehicle drive well (straight, doesn't pull one way etc) otherwise?

Sounds like the ABS wheel speed sensor leads may be too tight now, (need some more slack).

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
When driving it and curving to the right it cuts my acceleration and the traction light starts flashing. It's really annoying and scary.

Hi again,

I would have a Jeep technician scan your vehicle for codes set.

The mechanics that fitted the lift kit may have damaged a wheel speed sensor harness on one side.

I hope this helps.
