I have a coolant leak I just replaced the radiator and upper

Customer Question

I have a coolant leak I just replaced the radiator and upper and lower hoses I also replaced the thermostat. Where I am seeing the leak is at the front end of a unit that is on the bottom of the engine. What is there that could be leaking? It is a 2004 Grand Cherokee Rocky Mountain edition
JA: How old are the hoses? And just to clarify, can you actually see the leak?
Customer: Brand new hoses and I think I can see the leak where I discribed
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I am looking to see if I can fix it myself. If not i want to know what to tell the mechanic so that I don't go through a laundry list of repairs
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: that is all I have

Are you still there?

I would suspect a water pump leak, is the leak coming from the front of the engine on the bottom?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
but what I am seeing is on the underside of the engine and the water pump is on the front correct

Can you take a picture and attach it here?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I can't currently take a picture but the place I am seeing is at the front side of the very bottom engine part that has a pulley on it.

It could be leaking at the bottom of the water pump and flowing down the bottom of the engine.

There is not a lot of other thing it could be. Check the intake gaskets those can also cause a coolant leak.

Ok I will check that thanks
