JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: 98 Jeep Grand Cherooke
JA: What year is your Grand Cherokee?
Customer: 4.0 6 in line
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have connected a DTC and it was showing Ignition Coil 1 fail, then after was showing No power train DTCs or Freeze Frame Data is presently stored in the vehicle computer
JA: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?
Customer: that what it shows now and of course it does not start the vehicle
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: By the way I erased the code set by mistake, how do I have it back?

OK the vehicle will not start now correct? Was there any work done prior to the issue ?

Just replace the ECU ECM PCM computer 6 months ago, and the ignition coil as well

Ok did this start after replacing the ECU ? Also does the vehicle crank over at all now?

it did by the way, and was working OK, just this morning did crank up but failed to start engine

Yes but did they actually use a scanner to program the keys to the vehicle ? Also try disconnecting the battery with the key on the on position and see if it makes an difference and see if it starts thanks.

OK sounds like there is an issue possibly with the crank sensor do you know the number code for the engine light?
