Help RON, I have a 2001 jeep jk and the check engine light

Customer Question

Help RON,
I have a 2001 jeep jk and the check engine light continues to come on. The code states a miss fire cyclinder. I have changed out the coil pack 5 times in the 3 years I have owned it. I don't think I could have purchased 5 faulty coil packs. Frequently when I'm driving and I excelerate and the transmission kicks into a lower gear the jeep will start chugging and lose power. I pull over and turn the engine off and stay it back up and it runs smooth. No chugging
